In 2011, Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry under Sinochem Group (hereinafter referred to as “Shenyang Institute”) obtained national and provincial awards for its 11 techniques, of which “Industrialization Manufacture Technique of Anilofos (TC)” won the second prize of Liaoning Province’s Science and Technology Advancement Awards, with the other four projects, including “Formulation of National Standards for Determination of O-phenylphenol in Dyestuff Product”, “Synthesis Technique of Block Copo Organic Silicon Series”, ”New Production Process of Aminosulfonic Acid” and “Formulation of National Standards for Prochloraz (TC)”, winning second prize in Science and Technology Awards of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation(CPCIF), and the rest of the projects third prize of Science and Technology Awards of CPCIF.
The project “Industrialization Manufacture Technique of Anilofos (TC)” in 2011 has realized industrialization production and achieved sound application results, with a domestic market share of more than 35%. The application of this technique helped to overcome a long-time lack of excellent agents to kill barnyard grass in China’s rice fields, thus providing a significant demonstration and facilitation for the efforts to lead the way in update and replacement of China’s rice field agents to kill barnyard grass, to accelerate development of pesticides towards the direction of high content and high quality and to enhance production security of analogous thermolabile pesticides. Shenyang Institute’s award-winning projects in 2011 covered its pesticide, dyestuff, fine chemical engineering, chemical engineering and other disciplines, showing its improved scientific research system and sound technical reserve.
