On April 11-13, Sinochem Lantian Co., Ltd. (“Sinochem Lantian” for short) under Sinochem Group sent a delegation to attend the 23rd International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing (“International Refrigeration Exhibition” for short), which displayed its new generation of refrigerant R410A as well as other independently-developed products and obtained wide attention and high recognition.

During the exhibition, representatives from Sinochem Lantian had extensive exchanges with industry peers on the development trends and industry competition in the refrigerant industry. As a key research institute of ODS alternatives in China, Sinochem Lantian was invited to attend the “Ozone2Climate Technology Roadshow and Industry Roundtable 2012” jointly sponsored by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and China Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry Association (CRAA) to exhibit its HFC-161, HFC-152a and HFC-41 as well as its achievements in R&D of various kinds of refrigerants with low GWP values, and have in-depth discussion with other participants of the roundtable on latest international refrigerant replacement process and R&D achievements and development trends of alternative technology.

The International Refrigeration Exhibition has been successfully held for 23 times since its establishment in 1987 as one of the professional exhibitions with the largest scale in the global refrigeration, air-conditioning, heating and ventilation industry. Currently, as energy conservation, environmental protection and low-carbon life have become issues with global focus, healthy and sustainable development of the refrigerant industry has also become an issue with common concern among exhibitors and thus the International Refrigeration Exhibition this time is themed with “Innovation, Development, Energy Conservation, Emission Reduction”.
