On June 28, the World Brand Lab announced the list of 2012 (for the ninth year) "500 Most Valuable Brands in China", which included “Sinochem” and “Jinmao”, at No. 7 and No. 255 with the brand value of RMB 105.898 billion and RMB 5.961 billion respectively. This is the ninth consecutive year that we have received this honor, and the “Jinmao” of Sinochem’s affiliated China Jin Mao (Group) Co., Ltd. is shortlisted for the eighth consecutive year.
The brands on the rankings were analyzed based on financial data, consumer behavior and brand strength. This time, the total brand value on the list is RMB 6.583764 trillion, with the average brand value of RMB 13.168 billion and the finalist threshold of RMB 1.186 billion. The top ten brands also include China Mobile Communications, National Grid, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, CCTV, China Life Inrurance, China Petroleum, Huawei, China FAW and the Bank of China.
