He was appointed as Director and General Manager of Sinochem Group in September 2019. 

He previously served as Director of CNOOC(China National Offshore Oil Corporation) Reservoir Engineering Research Center and Manager of Research & Development Department; Deputy Chief Geologist and Deputy Manager of Overseas Development Department of CNOOC; Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of CNOOC Ltd.; Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager and Member of the Leading Party Group, Director, General Manager and Member of the Leading Party Group, Chairman and Party Secretary of CNOOC.

He graduated with Bachelor Degree from East China Petroleum Institute (Currently as China University of Petroleum), and Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management. He is Professorate Senior Economist.
