Syngenta launches new biological solution in Brazil

Date:2026-08-07     Source:Syngenta Group

Syngenta Brazil on July 24 announced the launch of Avakitt Neo, a new biological solution designed to enhance crop nutrient uptake efficiency through the synergistic effects of mycorrhizal fungi and biostimulants. Field trials in Brazil showed that the product increased soybean yields by more than 300 kilograms per hectare, demonstrating significant yield improvement potential.

The product works through a clear mechanism. The fungi form a symbiotic relationship with crop roots, expanding the effective root absorption area and improving the uptake of key resources such as water and phosphorus. The biostimulants enhance the roots’ ability to host fungal colonization, accelerate the establishment of symbiosis and promote early crop development. Applied before sowing, the product helps establish the symbiotic relationship at the early stage of root growth, laying a foundation for stable and higher yields.

Initially, Avakitt Neo will be used on crops including soybean, corn, cereal and sunflower. The product is expected to hit the Brazilian market in August, helping local soybean growers achieve significant yield gains while advancing sustainable agricultural production. Looking ahead, Syngenta plans to expand its portfolio of biological product solutions to markets such as China and India, further strengthening its global presence in biologicals.
